glad you got it figured out rob.

for posterity, when you download the offline game (usually in zipped format), it comes with two files usually named minigolf.swf and playGolf.exe. The .swf is a flash extension. the .exe is an executable. When you unzip the program, the two files must be extracted into a common directory (folder). If the two are simply placed on the desktop for example and you try to open playGolf.exe, you'll just get a black screen. it's because the .exe doesn't know what program to open with. when the .exe file is placed into the same directory as the .swf file, it's smart enough to know to use that to open it. once it's opened once, you're in the clearing. it's automatically associated for future use and you can then separate the two files, if you want. i don't know if this was your problem, specifically, rob, but just thought i'd share for again...posterity's sake.

is this the original minigolf, or the one that I modded and increased the speed so the shots arnt as slow?

Its the one i've sent to Rob,yeah,after my pc crashed the last time i asked Spud for the file and he sent me this one,at first i almost send it back,lmao,but eventually i'd gotten used to it.

PS:If you increased the speed on that file it wont be impossible for you to create one for minigold,right?

I was referring to the original Steven So one on the above post by me. Not sure how your tweak works.
I got your faster version of it on my computer no problems though, and i'd imagine it'd be the same theory.

well, using the same method that I used for the original one wont work for MGG because it's more complex and they've used commercial programs that cost a lot of $$$ to protect their .SWF's

...however not impossible, but beyond my abilities

One question,KS,you got any idea of who first came out with the golf file?

Cuz i got it for a long time(even before supa started to play),it was sent to me by JJ(i know you must remember him),but the reason im asking you this is cuz i've talked to other players(old ones)about it,and they knew before i'd said it,that was JJ who sent it to me...2 of those players were Papy and Koozie.

I really have no idea, but I remember JJ saying he helped the guy make it.

JJ is like a leading programmer/developer in France, so he can do anything, he actually makes the programs that make programs. Works for the French branch of borland.com.

Well Mig I have a suggestion , I my self have no talent that way but if we get LastDragon to join and as soon as he gets back from his weekend and gets internet next week , I will try to get him here but if anyone can tweak anything on a puter you know he can. That is what he does best , would be nice to have are own personal computer guru here as well.
