This is true. T1 isn't very fast. I believe the average cable broadband speed is 3 - 5 Mb/s. T3 is lightening. I work for a cable company though, and it has the potential of offering speeds of 1 Gb/s or faster. This will of course be geared to enterprise networks in the future. I'm not impressed with DSL. Ever hear of broadband running through power lines? it's already been test marketed and works great, but it's way too expensive to manage and operate for it to be a feasible alternative. i hear satellite is slow. *shrugs*

i have adsl which is 100Mb/s and i still feel its quite slow...
