Well the Olympics are here and already half over and this forum is prob the only forum on teh net with out an olympic thread.


Lets tlak everything bout teh olympics here, so basically this should be atleast 4 pages long by the end of the week.


I will start us of with 2 questions. both swimming though and one running so 3 questions.


ok ian thorp in teh 400m he won it but did he deserve to race it?


after the trials in australia he got disqualified for false starting and one of the other australians that qualified steped out and ended up coming 8th in the 1500m, he did win but should craig stevens swim it?


i dont think so, i think ian thorp deserved the race, affterall he is world champion.


2nd, thorp, hacket, phelps, vandenhouginban or however u spell it lol, all 4 swim in the 200m final i think it was, supposably the greatest race of all time, do you all think it was?, well it couold have been with ian coming out on top then vand.......... thingo lol then phelps, well i think that was the order, tehn hacket getting a cool 5th place stuffing up the order, but hey i couldnt do better if my life depended on it. so was it the greatest race of all tiem in your opinion?


 


and 3rd and final, the 100m sprint with green trying to repeat his gold medal performance at the 2000 sydney olympics in australia.


Well i think he may have deserved it running a faster time then last year. but this year all top 4 competitors ran it in under 10 seconds, i think it was the greatest 100m ran of all time, i mean it was the first ever olympic 100m sprint final ran with 4 athletes getting under 10 seconds.


Last olympics greens winning time was 9.88 seconds well this year the winner ran it in 9.85 then 2nd got 9.86 then green coming in 3rd ran it at 9.87 faster then last year but still not good enough for the win.


I think that was the greatest 100m sprint ever, well that i know of. what do you think of it?


Let me know all your thoughts people and let me know your thoguhts about teh whole olympics aswell.


one sport i find wierd is that handball, can someone pls explain teh rules to me, thanks,

I'm athletics fanatic, so you dont want to get me started with the aths, this topic will end up being 10 pages long.

In the swimming, I think the quality of competition was extremely good and there were very good performances. Disappointed though alexander popov the legendary russian swimmer failed to make the 50m freestlye, i would of liked to see him swim.

Can I just say that the Americans are so fkn arrogant at everything, they give me the ****s, Garry Hall Junior from the US(junior lol, what kind of fkn parent calls they're kid junior), is a complete wanker. I know there are americans members of this board, I may be generalising, well I am, but it just gives me the ****s, the way they act *sighs*...(100m sprinters come to mind)

Back to athletics, the female heptathlete, Karolina Kluft from Sweden is going to be the next big thing, also that she is so hot its not funny...

Get started ks i wanna here anything and everything about the olympics.


i love them, i wanna here pb's and everything from anyone. yes i dothink the americans are arrogat but from my opinion i like maurice green, basically cause i think he is a christian and i would have loved to see popov race to.
