okay....you post an avatar, a pic, or a signature all the same way.  i touched on it in another thread in "request an avatar - how to upload."  i think what i'll do this weekend is set up a public webspace for ALL members to upload their pics, avatars, or signatures.  this should alleviate a lot of confusion.    i'll make a new thread once it's completed!
