Game Rules

Mini Golf (9-Hole)

Quick Description:
Mini Golf Quick Description: Putt like the Pros playing Mini Golf! Play through a fun-filled course of action-packed greens and tricky holes using your putting skills.

Game Rules:
The object of Mini Golf Front 9 is to complete all the holes within the set time period with as few strokes as possible. You can scroll through the map of each hole’s layout and obstacles using your arrow keys. To putt, move your mouse around your golfer to change his direction and aim your shot. Then use the directional arrows that will appear on the screen to aim, and move the mouse away from the golfer to gain power. (You can use the power bar below the character as a gauge) Finally, left-click your mouse to hit the ball.

If your golfer moves and blocks your view of the ball, you can hold down the SHIFT key on your keyboard to temporarily make your golfer invisible. Hit the ball past all the obstacles, around the corners and into the cup. There is a limit of 15 strokes per hole.

During each hole, your score is displayed at the top of the game area. This score is always one hole behind and does not reflect your points for the current hole. Points are added to your score after you complete the hole. If you press the End Game button, the score displayed (excluding your points for the current hole) on the screen will be your final score.

Game Scoring
You will have a maximum 3 minutes to play 9 holes. If you finish a hole before your maximum number of strokes is reached (15), you will earn points for each hole. Additional points will be awarded for Holes in One, Birdies, or Eagles. Players begin with 150 points and lose 10 points for each stroke taken on that hole. Also, if you complete the course within the 3-minute period, you will earn a time bonus of:
Time bonus = ((time remaining)/total time) X 1000 for completing all holes

Bonuses for making above par:
Hole in One (Hole Par Value) x (Points for that hole)
Birdie (Hole Par Value) x (Points for that hole)
Eagle (Hole Par Value) x (Points for that hole)

Getting Par or more would yield only the points for that hole and no bonuses.
