okay, here's the scoop...

the forum i'm using doesn't give me the option to allow members to edit their own posts....unless, of course, i upgrade to their paid services.  i have considered doing this anyways, to get rid of the ad banner on the top of this forum and being able to edit in a footer and header of my own.  it's only a minimal amount and i can use the proceeds i win from playing skilljam.  i'm also already seriously considering paying for a web host for a future mini golf guide site.  all the free ones i find have certain limitations...or they don't support this or that type of scripting, etc....this is all down the road though...and also taking into account that i keep making a profit at skilljam.

in the meantime, i've come up with a decent alternative if a member really really wants to edit a post.  the only ones who can edit a post are moderators.  what i can do (or Miguel) is grant the person temporary moderator rights for a given, pre-determined time period of say like.....5 minutes.

so, if you want to edit a post, just e-mail me or Miguel and we'll set up a time frame.     or if you see us currently in the forum, same time as you, messenger me . mine is jeremiahhenry@msn.com
