this was first posted in jondavies forum. 



I don't know if this is widely known, but I just stumbled across how you can input your name in the scorecard [in a Single Player game].  Simply, choose "2 Player (on same computer)" first.  Enter in the name you want displayed in "Player 1."  Enter in whatever in the "Player 2" slot.  Hit "Play."  Then hit "Options" and "[restart]".  Now choose "Single Player."  The name you entered in "Player 1" now shows between each hole you play.  

What good does this do?  Not a hell of a lot.  :)
