has it always been known? if not, was there a first person who can claim they discovered it?
ever notice on the main screen under "Instructions" that they almost hint at how to do the so-called supershot? Notice, where it says, "Scroll the map using your arrow keys." the funny thing is...is that only the up and right buttons are pressed. none of the others...
is this but a mere coincidence? or is this a subtle message from the programmers hinting at how to do a "supershot"? and if it so is, are there any other hidden messages riddled within the game hinting at secret cheats, yet to be discovered?
or perhaps it could just be my imagination run wild..
The first time i've ever heard of it though was from Derek, once we were chatting on msn and he told me about it(when the old electrotank was running) but he made clear that it didnt worked on multiplayer.
Now that what you're saying makes lots of sense, maybe there are more hints hidding in there that we havent discovered yet
Well, I remember at Slingo, i'd just played Mig and he was telling me about how he managed to get -31 or something. Of course I replied with, HOW THE FOOK! And he told me the secret, then when I was talking to Supa over messenger, I told him how. He seemed shocked like hell, so I'm pretty sure it was the first he'd heard about them.
So i'd have to say Miguel discovered them, but it was me that gave them the name 'supershots' (not that it matters, lol)
I vaguely recall you saying, don't tell anyone about this as only you and I know about it, hopefully the electrotank scoreboard will get fixed and we can rule it.
I might be dreaming or imagining this or even wrong completely, its really not important when you think about it, lol
I remember it like if it was yesterday, but the only reason i said that was (as i said before) that the person who told me about it made a point of letting me know that it was good for nothing, cuz it only worked offline.
Wow,now its coming to me,it was a kid who couldnt even make a score of -26,....wait....ouch,as soon as i remember who that was i'll let you know.
I remember telling Miguel, and then ks when u told me I thought u got them to work online thats why i was shocked, someone told me but i do not remember who
Sorry to burst your bubble Supa but KS is right, someone told me about it,(still cant remember the damn name),then one ..(night here)maybe day in Australia,on slingo i told KS about it,actually it was on the same game that i told him a tunnel for hole 14 and he told me another shot
PS:If you and KS were sharing all the shots i dont see how he didnt knew about it when i told him
I have no idea, I've been playing the game for ever but have only really become a big timer within the past year. It was Ravinator who originally told me, but it was already quite commonly known by then.
Can't say I ever noticed about the up and right on instructions, but I'd guess it's just coincidence. I wonder if the first person discovered it by pure chance or if they looked in the source code of the game or something.
it doesn't actually say UP and Right it says 38 (UP) and 39 (RIGHT), because it uses VKeys (virtual keys) where keys are represented via number, not that it matters, but yeh..
actionscript is where all the flash goodies are stored! how do think flooding programs, scoreboard hacks, itsagame, etc... have been made in the past, just by viewing the AS
and from 'maxspeed = 14, and maxspeed = 20', does the first one mean normal shot, second one mean supershot???? and does that mean supershots arent twice faster than normal shotS??
